Vacuum Casting Parts | Low-Volume Production with Silicone Molds

This project demonstrates the production of low-volume plastic parts using vacuum casting and silicone mold technology.

A high-precision master pattern was first produced through additive manufacturing, followed by silicone mold fabrication and polyurethane casting.

Silicone Mold Manufacturing

Silicone molds are produced directly from a master pattern and can be used to manufacture multiple production-quality parts with excellent detail reproduction and surface finish.

Production-Quality Parts

The cast polyurethane parts accurately replicate complex geometries, mounting features, cosmetic surfaces, and functional design elements from the original master model.

Low-Volume Production

Multiple parts can be produced from the same silicone mold, making vacuum casting an efficient and cost-effective solution for low-volume manufacturing.

Complex Geometry Capability

Vacuum casting is capable of reproducing complex thin-wall structures, ribs, brackets, and curved geometries while maintaining dimensional consistency and functional performance.
